HiWay desires to help every person join its mission of changing everyday people into a community of passionate Christ followers. This may look different for preschoolers than it does for a married couple, but in every stage of life we want to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ.
Gear Up Children's ministry
Gear Up is the name of our Children's Ministry, Birth - 6th grade, here at HiWay. Our goal is to help them learn how to gear up for this crazy journey we call life. We hope to teach them stories and principles that will follow them throughout life. God has given us a passion for kids and we hope try to plan things that will excite them about coming and introduce them to God. VBS, kids camp, and service projects all help us really invest in our kid's lives. We also try to help parents learn how to guide their children on this journey. We hope that you and your children will join us soon. Learn more.
All in student ministry
ALL IN Student Ministry is built for students from 7th-12th grade. Our goal is to reach, train, and deploy the next generation of Christians. We meet on Sunday mornings at 8:00am and 9:30am. We also meet on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm. We try to take biblical truths and put application and practical steps to them. To help them take it through their lives, creating a culture of a biblical worldview. We love hanging out with students: from camp, SNOT, winter retreat, broomball, sporting events, etc. We are always down to hang out with students, just let us know. We also want to push students to serve in our church and are constantly looking for places that they will be able to excel in service. Learn more.
Challenge is the name of our college group here at HiWay. We want to challenge our students to live out their faith and make it their own. As they enter into the next stage of journey without their parents. We offer a Sunday morning small group and groups midweek that meet at MCC Red Mountain and ASU East. We try to allow our students to learn to serve, so we offer ample opportunities for this, like international service projects and leading a children's small group on Sunday mornings. We hope to get our students involved and taking hold of their own faith. We also do an annual trip to Mexico to build houses. Learn more.
