Young Adult Ministry
Who We Are
HiWay Young Adults Ministry is committed to reaching young adults between the ages of 18-29 years of age. We primarily do this by engaging college students at Red Mountain Community College. We strive to engage college students and young adults with the gospel, develop disciples of Jesus Christ, and mobilize servant leaders for the church. We encourage our young adults and college to serve out in our church so many serve on the worship team, the children's ministry, the youth group, and many other areas. Serving helps young adults really start to take ownership of their faith. We all come together and hangout pretty regularly.
What To Expect
Sunday morning is a time of a more intense learning, we will spend an hour in study going deep in God's Word. We use this time to really look into God's Word and learn how to apply it to our own lives. This is an awesome time to really talk through some major issues in our lives and find out how the Bible tells us we can deal with them. We meet in a small group format and really want to help students own their faith and serve within the church. This is not a formal meeting, so feel free to wear jeans, we have no expectations on dress.
Our weekly bible study is designed to help young adults connect with others and grow in their faith. We use this time to strengthen current relationship and to meet new young adults in the community. This is a causal time of study and hanging out, come join us as we dive deeper into God's Word.

When We Meet
At HiWay:
Sunday Small Groups: 9:30am and 5:30pm (Room B101)
Sunday Service: 11:00am and 6:45pm
Friday Night of Worship: Last Friday of the Month at 6:45pm (Worship Center)
Off Campus:
2nd Saturday Volleyball: 6:00pm at Gene Autry Park - Every 2nd Saturday
Midweek Bible Study: Resuming in January - Stay tuned for start date.

Get Involved
Winter Retreat
Join us this year for our Young Adult Winter Retreat! We are headed to the mountains and hopefully....SNOW!!! We play games, have worship, and our theme this year is Authentic. Come join us for a good time. The dates are February 24th-26th, 2023. It cost $100. Make sure to register no later than January 31st!

Mexico Missions
Every year during winter break, we head down to Mexico and help build homes for those less fortunate than ourselves. We sleep in tents and rough it. It is a lot of fun and it gives us a chance to encourage and build our community of college and young adults. Please think about joining us in the upcoming year. This trip is for Junior and Seniors in high school and members of our Young Adult Small Groups on and off campus.
