These are the people who have Joined the Journey and made the first step of Faith in following Christ. Baptism is one of the first acts of obedience for a follower of Jesus. The event demonstrates the person’s new life in Jesus. HiWay Baptist Church practices baptism by immersion (Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38).
