Young Adult Ministry
Who We Are
The goal of HiWay Young Adults Ministry is to REACH, TRAIN, and DEPLOY the next generation to walk with Christ in everyday life. We teach young adults how to grow in their faith, share the Gospel, and serve others for the glory of God. Our ministry focuses on young adults between the ages of 18 and 29, especially college students at Red Mountain Community College.
We strive to share the gospel with college students and young adults, help them become disciples of Jesus Christ, and equip them to serve as leaders in the church. Many of our young adults serve in areas like the worship team, children’s ministry, youth group, and more. Serving helps them take ownership of their faith. We also enjoy spending time together regularly, building community and friendships.

What To Expect
Sunday morning is a time for more focused learning. We spend about an hour digging deep into God’s Word. During this time, we really explore Scripture and learn how to apply it to our everyday lives. It’s a great opportunity to talk through important issues and discover how the Bible guides us in handling them. We meet in small groups and want to help students take ownership of their faith and find ways to serve within the church. This is not a formal meeting, so feel free to wear jeans—there are no expectations when it comes to dress.
Our weekly Bible study is designed to help young adults connect with others and grow in their faith. It’s a relaxed time to strengthen existing relationships and meet new people in the community. Come join us as we dive deeper into God’s Word and enjoy hanging out together.

When We Meet
Sunday Small Groups: 9:30am (in the family life center)
Sunday Service: 11:00am
Friday Night of Worship: Last Friday of the Month at 6:45pm
Get Involved
Young Adult Gathering
Join us on the last Friday of every month for our Young Adult Gatherings. We meet at 6:45pm at HiWay Baptist Church for worship, a message, dinner, and fellowship. Come connect with other young adults in the area. There is always something fun happening.

Mexico Missions
Every year during winter break, we travel to Mexico to help build homes for those who are less fortunate. We sleep in tents and live simply while we’re there. It’s a lot of fun and a great chance to encourage one another and build community among college students and young adults. Please consider joining us next year. This trip is open to high school juniors and seniors as well as members of our Young Adult Small Groups, both on and off campus.
