Student Ministry
We love students here at HiWay! The goal of HiWay Student Ministry is to REACH, TRAIN, and DEPLOY the next generation to walk with Christ in everyday life: teaching them how to grow in their faith, how to share the Gospel, and how to serve people for the glory of God. The teenage years are a time of finding identity, becoming a young adult, and being equipped for the future. There are many different voices that can pull, push, and persuade teens to make certain decisions in life. We want to help the students develop of Biblical Worldview, when listening to these voices, knowing that God's voice is more powerful.
At HiWay, we encourage students to explore their gifts and talents in a fun, diverse, and active environment. Not only are students encouraged to find their identity as individuals, but also as followers of with genuine faith, passionate hearts of service, and zealous evangelistic habits. Our programs pull teens from throughout Mesa, Apache Junction, Gilbert, and Chandler for times of worship, study, and fun.

When we meet
Sunday at 9:30am
Wednesday Night: 6:30-8:00pm
What to expect
Sunday: Sunday is a time of a more intense learning, we will spend an hour in study going deep in God's Word. We use this time to really look into God's Word and learn how to apply it to our own lives. This is an awesome time to really talk through some major issues in our lives and find out how the Bible tells us that we should deal with them.
Wednesday Night: There is dinner available at 5:45pm in the Family Life Center. At 6:30pm we start with games and worship and then move to small groups. We meet in gender and aged based groups. This allows students to talk freely with small groups leader and learn at an appropriate, specifically tailored study. We use this time to disciple the youth and give them a more Biblically based worldview.
