Student Ministry
We love students here at HiWay! The goal of HiWay Student Ministry is to REACH, TRAIN, and DEPLOY the next generation to walk with Christ in everyday life. We teach students how to grow in their faith, share the Gospel, and serve others for the glory of God. The teenage years are a time of finding identity, becoming a young adult, and preparing for the future. There are many different voices that try to influence teens and sway their decisions. We want to help students develop a biblical worldview so they can recognize that God’s voice is the most powerful.
At HiWay, we encourage students to explore their gifts and talents in a fun, diverse, and active environment. Students are encouraged to find their identity both as individuals and as followers of Christ with genuine faith, passionate hearts for service, and a zeal for sharing the Gospel. Our programs bring teens together from Mesa, Apache Junction, Gilbert, and Chandler for times of worship, study, and fun.

When we meet
Sunday at 8:00 and 9:30am
Wednesday Night from 6:30-8:00pm
What to expect
Sunday: Sunday is a time for more focused learning. We spend about an hour digging deep into God’s Word. This time allows us to study Scripture closely and learn how to apply it to our daily lives. It’s a great opportunity to talk through important issues and discover how the Bible guides us in handling them.
Wednesday Night: Dinner is available at 5:45 p.m. in the Family Life Center. At 6:30 p.m., we begin with games and worship, followed by small groups. Students meet in groups based on gender and age. This setup helps students feel comfortable talking openly with their small group leaders and allows for Bible study that fits their stage of life. Wednesday nights are focused on discipling youth and helping them develop a strong biblical worldview.
